Love2B In Sheffield Events
Love2B In Sheffield was a festival celebrating St. Valentine's week and eveything Sheffield has to offer in terms of entertainment and the arts.
On Tuesday 15th February Dave played a live acoustic set in the bandstand on The Moor, along with Population Lost, Michelle Baxter and Anthony Baxter.
On Friday 18th February he took part in Tram Jam - a guerilla gig on one of Sheffield's Supertrams. Dave, Michelle, Anthony and their friend Mike Szemanski rode the tram from Middlewood to Meadowhall all day, entertaining passengers with acoustic busking.
One lady told Dave she'd had "the nicest tram journey ever" following his set, and he even made 10p from a mini-grunge kid after playing an impromptu cover of Nirvana's 'Lithium'!
More events to come soon!

Biography
Dave Smith is a literate, articulate and emotional singer-songwriter, drawing on the Beatles' song-writing tradition, with twinges of lo-fi, country and emo. Current influences include Elliott Smith, Damien Rice and Radiohead.
For the past year Dave has been playing live around Sheffield as front man of local experimental indie-rockers The Walter Mandrake Demonstration, but is now branching out as a solo-artist.
Dave believes in a personal touch, communicating with people through songs and expressing feelings we have all known. His songs can be heartbreaking, beautiful and powerful, or straightforward indie sing-alongs.
