Busking!

Dave enjoyed his two sessions of busking in Sheffield city centre over the weekend - so thanks to all those who stopped to say 'Hi' or threw down their loose change. We won't say how much he made, but suffice to say it was enough to pay for the pub that night!

If you didn't catch Dave out and about this weekend, you can see him for free at Nottingham House on 23rd August or at the Green Room on 31st August - see our earlier post for more details.

Broken Strings @ The Green Room - 27/7/05

Dave played two enthusiastically received acoustic sets at the Green Room in Sheffield on Wednesday night, showing greater confidence, energy and strength of voice than ever before.

His sets included songs from his forthcoming EP (recording will be finished over the summer), a new song, a cover and audience particpation during the last song - what could be a greater affirmation of a brilliant set, than having the audience shout "Everything's Great!" at the end of 'Woozy'!

Dave's engineer recorded the sets and once they're mixed we'll upload them for you listen to. Watch this space!

    See below for the setlists.

    First Set:

    1) Red Wine Drunk
    2) New Song
    3) Passion

    Second Set:

    1) Untitled
    2) Please Go Away
    3) No Confidence Man (Elliott Smith cover)
    4) Woozy

Also on the bill were: Dialog, Natasha Allen and Mark Daynes.

For more information on Broken Strings, see Real Promotions
